Ferndale Chamber of Commerce
Welcome! As the core organization of Ferndale’s business community, the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce — established in 1905 — strives to promote tourism and nurture the economic development of local businesses as well as to maintain and enhance our unique quality of life through preservation and promotion of our historic community in beautiful Humboldt County and the Eel River Valley.
You can help Ferndale thrive by joining the Chamber! You don’t have to own a business or live in Ferndale to support our community with a Chamber membership.
Chamber activities are funded through a mix of membership dues, fundraisers, grants, and Transient Occupancy Tax revenue generated by overnight visitor stays at our local lodging establishments. The City of Ferndale allocates a portion of TOT revenue to the Chamber to market Ferndale, bring visitors to town, and advance the economic interest of all residents. Other TOT revenue is used by the city for services and improvements for residents.
