Beat the Heat in Ferndale This Summer

Need to beat the heat this summer? Look no further than the Victorian Village of Ferndale. Just five miles from the Pacific Ocean at the northern gateway to Lost Coast, Ferndale offers small-town charm, historic beauty, and easy access to California’s state and national redwood parks. Plus, the area’s mild temperatures make it the perfect destination if you’re looking to cool off. Ferndale’s average high temperature in July is 70°F, rising to just 72°F in August and topping out at 73°F in September, our warmest month (while evenings stay comfortable in the low to mid-50s throughout the summer season).

So, whether you’re road-tripping with family or friends, looking for a couples’ getaway, or traveling solo, Ferndale has something for you.
